At The Mend, each client receives a customized care plan. But generally, addiction treatment consists of a behavioral and a medical track.
On the medical side, trained professionals may prescribe medications to relieve withdrawal symptoms during your detox. And while most withdrawal symptoms end by the time you begin rehab, your body will still be going through big changes throughout early recovery.
As you begin residential treatment, staff will continue to monitor your vitals to ensure that you’re healthy and safe as you begin the real work of recovery.
That work will include a series of treatments to help you heal from any trauma, manage cravings, and change unhealthy thought and behavior patterns.
At The Mend, your plan might include any of the following modalities:
- Clinical Groups
- Weekly One-On-One Therapy Sessions
- Relapse Prevention
- Life Skills Education
- Outside 12-Step Meetings
- Alumni Support
- Breathworks Meditation
- Music Therapy
- Recreational Outings
- Self-Care Outings
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Sessions
When the residential phase of your treatment begins to come to an end – for financial considerations or otherwise – your addiction treatment won’t have to. Our team will work with you to develop a solid after-care plan that might include intensive outpatient treatment, sober living, 12 Step meetings, and more.
